sneak peak @ October freebie

I've been extremely busy this last few days getting not only my own marketing pack together for any upcoming child portrait sessions but also putting something special together for everyone else who has been wonderful enough to come across my blog!!! On October 1st I will be releasing my very first little red hen designed '5 x 7' thank you card' template (.psd file) for all you readers out there in blog-land. These are great to pop in the letter box and send to clients after their session is held. It's the minor details and extra effort that really draws attention and appreciation so it truly cannot hurt a soul to have these handy :) This template comes with four loaded textures for extra blend modes and removal if needed. There are six final 'preview' images that I'd love for everyone to see but for now here is a small preview of the front of one of the 'boys' cards, and the back of one of the 'girls' cards. Of course everything thats loaded into the file is optional and you can turn any layer off, add additional text (the text i've used is called grey magnus which I scored from dafont - keep in mind alot of the fonts there are free for personal use while some have no restrictions at all) and you can put your own logo straight onto the card wherever you like. As I mentioned, it's fully customizable :)
I printed a few of these off today and the quality is amazing.

Keep a look out for it's release on October 1st as an official gift for the launch of my blog, along with some other news, reviews and links. Have a great week everyone

xx

little red hen launches off...

I must say, I am so completely excited to be able to share my own little corner of the world with all of you fantastic photographers, artists and designers out there. Over the last few weeks I've had a growing inspiration, creative flow and absolute enjoyment for life and those around me. Its at a time when you are at your highest point that the most obvious of decisions present themselves right in front of you. Every day seems fresh and new and I look forward to putting myself into this project, networking, learning, socialising, creating, collaborating and of course showing some compassion for the wonderful world of art.

scope of the little red hen blog

Over the past few weeks I've had a continual 'boom' for photosessions in the likes of child portraiture . I had never really deemed it necessary to spend time on such things but since the arrival of all my gorgeous little nephews and my niece I have had so much more appreciation for the little shoes they walk in and just what it is that they think about. Family is an extremely  key point in being able to find connections with others no matter what age but I will admit some of the most important lessons I've learnt in life is through having patience with children.

Since registering as a business late last year I've had hardly any time to spare for creative projects. In fear that 'if you do not use it, you lose it' and after a tonne of research over the past few days, I've staged a total revamp, identity and marketing structure to prepare myself for the roads ahead :) now operating as 'little red hen photography', my area of interest is specializing in timeless child portraiture and custom designed packages to suit the freedom of everyone.

Here on my blog over time you will come across a resource center - free templates, actions, discussions, tips, prop ideas, giveaway custom design kits (all free of charge) and I hope alot of nice folk who stop by and leave some feedback. I'll be linking to other great sites, tutorials and blogs so please if you are interested in what im doing and would love to swap ideas then make sure you subscribe to get all the latest and I'll be sure to do the same.

There is a set of links to my other sites around the www so if you are a user at any of those, please feel free to add me to your friends/watch list.

WELCOME EVERYONE AND THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT :)
